Alexandra Garcia is a renewable energy project manager with 10+ years in the energy and construction industries. She's held numerous engineering and non-technical roles with Dominion Energy and Tennessee Valley Authority, as well as Technical Project Manager with Structural Technologies, one of the largest Design-Build specialty construction firms in the US. With a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and a master's in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, Alexandra has blended her technical acumen with equally important soft skills to ensure successful project delivery across a spectrum of domains. Since 2023, she has focused on large commercial renewable energy hubs and microgrid projects in Puerto Rico. Outside of work, she races enduro mountain bike races in the US, writes poetry and short stories, and enjoys the slower elements of life with her senior dog Muchacho (Mooch). She lives in North Carolina and Puerto Rico with her husband.
