Alex Christiansen is the Federal Affairs Manager for Sunrun, the nation's largest residential solar and storage company. He works with policymakers on practical, forward-looking energy policy, and helps the company navigate an evolving regulatory landscape. Based in DC, he partners with lawmakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders on issues like tax policy, grid modernization, and distributed energy. Before joining Sunrun, Alex worked on Capitol Hill for Senator Mitt Romney. Originally from Utah, he studied public relations and Russian at Utah Valley University. Outside of work, he loves traveling, climbing, and getting into the mountains whenever possible.
