Scott Warner holds a BS in Geography with a focus in GIS from Texas State University. With 20 years of experience in 9-1-1, Emergency Management (EM), and GIS, he possesses both GISP and FPEM certifications. Scott resides in Foley, AL, where he serves as the GIS/Addressing Manager for Baldwin County 9-1-1. He volunteers as the South Regional Director with GIS Association of Alabama, and has served on the State AL 9-1-1 Board GIS Committee. Scott is a recipient of the StormReady Hero Award from NWS-Tallahassee for his contributions to life-saving efforts before, during, and after Hurricane Michael, an award that had only been awarded 8 times since StormReady’s inception in 2002. He is also a Gary Arnold Award recipient from FEPA, a Florida Emergency Managers group. In his leisure time, he enjoys golfing, bowling, and spending quality time with his family.
