Evan O. Nelson, PT, DPT, PhD is a board-certified specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy. Dr. Nelson is an Associate Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In this role, he prepares Doctor of Physical Therapy students for contemporary practice by teaching evolving practice areas such as diagnostic imaging, pharmacology, nutrition, and primary care. His practice experience spans multiple sports and orthopedic clinical settings including a current position at UW-Madison University Health Service where he provides services upon referral and by direct access.
