Nathan is originally from Sheboygan Falls, WI, and attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2013. Following graduation, Nathan married his wife, Jana, and they moved to the east coast while he attended the University of Delaware. He graduated with a master’s degree in Anatomy and Clinical Health Sciences and a doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. Since beginning practice, he has dedicated himself to further education and specialization in the physical therapy profession. He is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and obtained his OCS in 2021. Nathan is also certified by the Movement Performance Institute in movement, gait, and running evaluation and treatment. Nathan enjoys working with all orthopedic and sports-related injuries, with a particular interest in working with runners. In addition to his expertise in sports injuries, his unique skill set also includes the treatment of vestibular dysfunction and vertigo. Nathan also has a passion for investing in physical therapy education and has served as a Clinical Instructor since 2018. Currently Nathan is attending UWSP to obtain an Ed.D. in Educational Sustainability to continue educating future physical therapists. Nathan is also a Senior Contributor for Doctors of Running (doctorsofrunning.com), a group of Doctors of Physical Therapy who produce running shoe reviews and articles on running gait, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. He enjoys delving into the latest evidence-based training techniques to improve running performance and remaining healthy in his spare time. Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife, Jana, and their sons, Henry, and Raymond. In his free time, he enjoys running, hiking, playing board games, and watching the Badgers, Bucks, and Packers (and The Office).
