Daniel Deuel (he/him), PT, DPT, MEd, MPH, works in pain management at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics (UW Health) in Madison, WI. Daniel is a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) who has created and presented content related to leadership development, systems thinking, and DEI at APTA’s Combined Sections Meeting and State-level conferences. He has teaching experience as a guest lecturer within multiple programs at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and as a former primary school teacher. Daniel is co-chair and a founding member of APTA Wisconsin’s DEI committee. Excellence Charter School, a Milwaukee Public Schools Charter. Daniel serves as co-chair of the APTA Wisconsin Section Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, which aims to build ties between the DPT program and the local community and introduce physical therapy to young students of historically underrepresented backgrounds. Daniel is also a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).
