Aziz Alami-Idrissi has served as Senior Director of the RF Filter Business Unit at Soitec since mid-2022. He joined Soitec in 2005 and has since held various leadership roles. From early 2019, Aziz led Soitec's Specialty Business Unit, overseeing products based on Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) technology for power, photonics, and imaging applications. Before that, he spent six years managing business operations for Soitec's digital product portfolio, driving strategies from development through deployment. Earlier in his career, Aziz led the Prototyping Group for five years, where he spearheaded the development and deliveries of a wide range of SOI samples. He originally joined Soitec as a Process Development Engineer, specializing in chemical and mechanical polishing for 300-mm wafers. Before joining Soitec, Aziz worked as a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer from 2002 to 2005 at Jabil/Valeo, where he was responsible for qualifying active electronic devices for the automotive sector. Aziz graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Physique de Marseille.
