Tracey Walker
Tracey Walker is a 50 year old wife and mother of two beautiful boys as well as a qualified naturopath working out of the Ellenbrook/Swan Valley area.
She started life in the dog eat dog world of corporate insurance until she gave it all away to bring up her boys. When the time came to going back to work she was crushed thinking she’d have to return to a life that didn’t feed her passions or soul in any way so on a throwaway line from her father in law, she studied to become a naturopath and the rest, as they say, is history.
Completing her degree she built a premises in Ellenbrook where she opened a small retail section out front and decided she wanted to become the “family naturopath” of Ellenbrook. She has always marched to the beat of her own drum so did things her way, often going against conventional business advice and wisdom and built a thriving business 5 years later through little more than Facebook advertising and word of mouth.
She is a passionate advocate of naturopathy and women’s health and rights in particular and this has led to a very strong support base in the local community. Here, she shares her story.
