Bart has worked in the Farm Credit System for 18 years and has served in various capacities throughout North MS. Bart has a passion for Farm Credit and believes in the mission they carry to serve Agriculture and Rural America. Bart has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Mississippi State University. Bart is a graduate of the Southeast School of Commercial Banking and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Bart resides in Hernando, MS where he serves the North MS region for First South as the Vice President of Lending. Bart is married to Hannah Harris and they have four children. Bart enjoys spending time with family, the outdoors and watching Mississippi State sports.  “What your Lender needs to know” - a simplified presentation that highlights what you (the borrower) should be prepared to share with your lender and what you can expect to learn from your lender. Key points include: giving a clear understanding of what you need to borrow money for, understanding the need for down payments, learning from the lender’s experience, impact of your Credit Score, and a brief overview of key financial statements and their specific components.
