Dr. Mitchell serves as the District STEM Coordinator for Wilson County Schools where she advocates for STEM Education, intentional alignment with curriculum, robotics, project-based learning, cross-curricular collaboration, and providing real-world connections. She graduated with her doctorate from the University of South Carolina in Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in STEM Education. She is a 2024-2025 Kenan Fellow and serves on the NCSLA Board of Directors.
