Jamie Perchinsky is a Pittsburgh native with 17 years of teaching experience spanning across kindergarten through fourth grades. She has a passion for STEM education and utilizes a hands-on/ minds-on teaching philosophy, which allows children to enjoy yet retain learning. She's been awarded The Green Apple Distinguished Teacher Award (2011), West Pine Elementary Teacher of the Year (2016), National Board Certification (2017) and WRAL's Teacher of the Week (2023).
