Gabriel de Paz has enjoyed contributing to the Renewable Energy movement for over a decade with experience in the Biodiesel + Solar sectors, and for the past 3+ years, has specialized in EV Charging Infrastructure. He has facilitated both L2 and DCFC projects across the Southeastern USA for various verticals including fueling & convenience, multi-family housing, workplace parking, hotels, municipalities, etc. Gabriel currently works for Ford Motor Company as a consultant to government fleets who seek to transition their internal combustion vehicles to electric. In this role, he has helped various governmental agencies across the SE USA (from County-level to Federal Agencies) set up the appropriate EV infrastructure optimal to their specific fleet operations. Gabriel graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Appropriate Technology with minor in Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University, and a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Project Management from the University of Florida. Gabriel’s goal is to accelerate the transition to a truly Sustainable future through cleaner/more reliable energy sources and adherence to the triple bottom line (people, planet, prosperity).
