Tim Martin is a Safety & Risk Consultant at INSURICA in Tulsa. Over the years, he has worked closely with numerous oil & gas operators in Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas, as well as companies involved in work-over and well servicing activities. Growing up in a small town around the oil patch, Tim is familiar with the culture and some of the safety shortcuts often taken by rig hands. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection and a master's degree from Oklahoma State University (OSU). He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS). Tim resides in Bixby with his wife, Amy, their two children, Lucy (age 7) and Cooper (age 5), and their yellow Labrador, Huck-Huck (age 5), who is known for his goofy smile. Tim is grateful for the opportunity to speak at the Oklahoma Safety Conference and to contribute to the ongoing conversation about safety in the industry.
