Michael D. Larrañaga, PhD, PE, CIH, FAIHA Dr. Michael Larrañaga is President and Managing Principal for R.E.M. Risk Consultants and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene, the joint research journal of the American Conference of Government Industrial Hygienists and the American Industrial Hygiene Association. Dr. Larrañaga is an appointed member of the Scientific/Technical Advisory Committee of the World Trade Center Health Program and the National Advisory Committee for Occupational Safety and Health. He is a graduate of the Oklahoma State University School of Fire Protection & Safety and the Center for Homeland Defense and Security at the United States Naval Postgraduate School. He previously served as an appointed member of the Board of Scientific Counselors for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
