Edwin “Eddy” Tijerina has dedicated over 25 years to the Safety and Risk Management profession. He currently serves as the Safety Officer for Tulsa County. His previous roles include Safety Coordinator for the City of Tulsa, board member of the Oklahoma Safety Council, and Tulsa Office Supervisor for the Council. Throughout his career, Eddy has remained committed to the belief that one of the most essential skills for success in the safety field is the ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships with employees, vendors, contractors, citizens, and peers.
