Dr. Fritts is an Indiana native and alumna of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She started in her role as deputy state veterinarian in the summer of 2022 and counts it an honor to help producers prepare for and respond to the threat of animal disease. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and twin daughters, knitting, going on long walks, and tending to her flocks of seven chickens.
