The Water Evaluation and Planning (WEAP) model was used to develop a water balance for Nzoia River Basin, Kenya and to assess changes in streamflow under different climate change scenarios.:
This literature review analysed the factors behind the length of time it takes to conclude and put into effect transboundary water agreements. The factors found included presence and level of conflict amongst riparian states, level of economic development that is dependent on water, level of economic development of riparian states, and influence of external parties.
