This literature review analysed the factors behind the length of time it takes to conclude and put into effect transboundary water agreements. The factors found included presence and level of conflict amongst riparian states, level of economic development that is dependent on water, level of economic development of riparian states, and influence of external parties.:
The study compared three rangeland management approaches for effectiveness in fodder growth in Blue Nile State, Sudan. In one plot staggered soil bunds were applied for rainwater harvesting and combined with herbicides for weed control. In the second plot herbicides were applied without soil bunds. The third plot was the control without soil bunds or weeds. The plot with rainwater harvesting was the most effective for fodder growth.
