This research which was conducted in the central clay plains of Sudan used a combination of remotely sensed images, climate data and biophysical modelling to estimate wheat water consumption and crop water productivity. These data were used as inputs in the evaluation of the performance of this agricultural production system.:
This paper introduces WHO�s HydoSOS (Hydrological Status and Outlook System) that is being piloted in the Lake Victoria Basin in partnership with National Meteorological and Hydrological Services, and transboundary water organisations � specifically the LVBC but also potentially NBI. This is also an application to convene a session or side event with the same title.
