Al is the President and CEO of the Twin Cities Gateway Visitors Bureau that promotes the visitation to the eleven north suburban cities of Anoka, Arden Hills, Blaine, Coon Rapids, Fridley, Ham Lake, Lino Lakes, Mounds View, New Brighton, Ramsey and Shoreview. Al was promoted to the President and CEO role from his sports marketing position at the end of 2020. Al has a degree in Sports Marketing from Metropolitan State and constantly uses those skills to attract sporting events to the TCG area. He is a past president of the Ham Lake Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on the Minnesota Association of CVBs board as Vice-President. Al is the current President of the Minnesota Sports Alliance. Al loves to play broomball, softball and golf and enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He is a member of the USA Broomball Hall of Fame. Al lives in Ham Lake where he has resided for 23 years. His family includes Stacia (wife), daughters Greta and Grace and son Garrett.
