Ami Choi is a Statewide Tourism Specialist at the University of Minnesota Extension’s Tourism Center. She works on a variety of applied research projects on visitor experiences, behaviors, and constraints in parks, recreation, and tourism, among diverse populations. Her work supports communities and industry partners to better understand visitor needs and address opportunities/challenges in management and planning. Ami holds a PhD in Natural Resources Management from the University of Minnesota and a BA and MS in Tourism Studies from Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea.
