Breakout: Regional Impacts of Climate Change Across Minnesota and the Future of Tourism

Dena Coffman is a GIS Specialist at the University of Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership (MCAP). Dena uses GIS and climate change projections to help communities better understand, communicate and prepare for the effects of climate change. Prior to joining MCAP, Dena worked on the Adaptation Research team at the Canadian Climate Institute, where she worked on a range of projects examining climate impacts on human health, infrastructure, and permafrost thaw. Dena holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies from McGill University, and a Masters in Geography from the University of Toronto.
