Derek Ramthun is on the Industry Relations team at Explore Minnesota, serving the state's Northeast region. With the agency since 2016, Derek also plans and manages Explore Minnesota’s Co-op Program. He aims to increase tourism in Minnesota by fostering industry participation in Explore Minnesota programs. Outside of work, you can find Derek on a trail with his family, on a kayak or jet-ski on one of Minnesota's 11,842 lakes or on a hike in the north woods chasing waterfalls.
