Kristen (Kris) Parmelee specializes in SBIR/STTR preparations and submissions and has worked on over 300 proposals throughout the course of her career. She has assisted with submittals to all 11 participating federal agencies for a range of SBIR/STTR-related funding opportunities, making her acutely aware of trends and themes among granting agencies and review panels. She works closely with a wide range of small businesses, research institutions such as Purdue University, University of Florida, UNeTech, and Stevens Institute of Technology, and Incubators and Accelerators such as MATTER, Start-Up Health, AcceLINX, Puerto Rico Science Trust, Foresight Science & Technology, Wisconsin CTC to support faculty and small business owners through the SBIR/STTR process. Her depth of experience in the grant writing field has allowed her to create a highly refined process that provides maximum efficiency and results in quality and competitive proposals. After more than 20 years as a consultant, Kris has developed long-term relationships with many of her clients. It’s not just about a single project; it’s about creating opportunities for meaningful engagement and growth—for both PCG, Inc. and the client. Kristen Parmelee is a proud graduate of Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Butler University.
