Chris Moyer became IT vice president and Chief Technology Officer for Exelon in January 2019. He has overall responsibility for enterprise-wide architecture, infrastructure, operations, and applications. His team defines and implements the company’s technical vision and strategy.
Chris previously served as vice president and general manager for DCX Technology, responsible for the company’s security services business.
Prior to this role, he was an HP Fellow and chief technology officer at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services where he set technical direction for HP’s broad portfolio of services and led applied research activities. He spent more than 25 years providing thought leadership and building innovative business and technology solutions for clients across multiple geographies and industries.
Chris has held leadership roles in application development, workplace, cloud, and integration serving commercial and public sector customers. He has supported clients around the world and has lived in the UK, Japan, and the US.
His passion for innovation and harnessing technology to improve business and customer experiences is fueled by the ability to build high-performance teams, integrate partners into solutions and use iterative delivery models.
Chris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
