Kevin Tremblay, CPA, CA, CBV, CF, is a Managing Director based in Toronto. With a focus on negotiating high-quality outcomes, Kevin advises clients in the private sector across a broad spectrum of industries, bringing significant experience in manufacturing, distribution and service-based businesses. Kevin is well-versed in navigating the challenges associated with succession planning to help his clients realize both their personal and corporate goals. Drawing on more than two decades of experience as a strategic consultant, Kevin’s primary role is facilitating the sale of companies, but he has also successfully executed acquisitions, management buyouts, private placements and valuation mandates. He is adept at identifying sources of debt and equity financing, experienced in cross-border transactions and working with business owners and executives to maximize shareholder value. Prior to joining MNP Corporate Finance, Kevin was a Senior Director with M&A International, a global alliance of investment banking firms represented in more than 40 countries with more than 600 professionals and specializing in cross-border transactions. Prior to joining M&A International in 2001, Kevin was a member of the audit and assurance team at Ernst & Young. Kevin holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University. He is qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Business Valuator, and has obtained his Corporate Finance Qualification through CPA Canada. Kevin is also a Board member of the Oakville Community Foundation, acting Treasurer, and Chair of their Finance, Risk and Audit committee.
