After studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics and working as an employment advisor Louise joined the Transport and General Workers Union as a trainee organiser in 2005. Since then Louise has worked at the Association of Teachers & Lecturers and Unite. Louise joined Equity just over eight years ago and is now Head of the General Secretary’s Department. Her work includes leading the union’s lobbying work, promoting union policy and developing Equity’s political network.
