Zach Feiner is a research scientist with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Office of Applied Science and research liaison to the UW-Madison Center for Limnology. He earned his BS at UW-Madison, MS from North Carolina State University, and PhD at Purdue University, then returned to Wisconsin to work as a scientist at the WDNR for two years before moving to his current position jointly appointed by WDNR and UW-Madison. Zach is co-chair of the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts Fisheries Working Group and works on science to understand climate impacts on fish and the recreational anglers that pursue them.
