Dr. Madeline Magee is the monitoring coordinator for the Great Lakes and Mississippi River at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. She received her Bachelors in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota and PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she researched climate change impacts to inland lakes. Before joining WDNR, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the UW Madison Center for Limnology researching climate change impacts to cold-water fish habitat. She is currently chair of the Great Lakes working group of the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts.
