Lindsay Peterson has been with the Wild Rivers Invasive Species Coalition (WRISC) since 2015, after graduating from Northland College with a BS in Environmental Geosciences, with an emphasis in Water Science. Peterson is committed to raising awareness of invasive species and their impacts while working to protect the wilderness she grew up with. In her time with WRISC, Peterson has managed more than 20 invasive species grant projects across the 5 county WRISC area, all with the aim of educating, monitoring, and managing for invasive species. Peterson’s goal is to create an adaptable organization that can implement effective conservation practices in a sustainable way for years to come. In her free time, Peterson enjoys backpacking, gardening, and adventuring outdoors with her family.
