Amanda Smith is the Northeast Region AIS Coordinator for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources based out of Green Bay. She is originally from North Hudson, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin – Stout (B.S.) and Madison (M.S.) before joining the Department in 2017. Amanda has experience with stream, lake, and wetland monitoring, aquatic plant management, grants, Areas of Concern (AOCs), CLMN, surface water quality assessments, and working with partners. She values creativity and forward thinking inspired by the Seventh Generation. Amanda enjoys cooking, hiking, fishing, watching PBS, listening to WPR, and spending time with her partner Ryan and their furbaby - a chocolate point Siamese named Minnow.
