Cathie Erickson lives on Stone Lake (between Hayward and Spooner) and enjoys the woods and water with her husband Gary and their curly coated retriever Dina. She is the current President of Wisconsin Lakes, a not-for-profit citizens’ organization, and also serves on the boards of the Washburn County Lakes & Rivers Association (WCLRA) and the Shoreowners of Stone Lake Association. In her role with WCLRA, Cathie worked to have the Totogatic designated as a State Wild River and to then to acquire a 260-acre property along the river. That property is now public land managed by the DNR.
