John Kubisiak has worked in the Fisheries program of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources since 2000. He is stationed at Rhinelander and managed the fish populations in Oneida County from 2003 through 2016. He currently supervises the DNR Treaty Fisheries Work Unit, covering 14 counties on the east side of Wisconsin’s Ceded Territory. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Limnology with a minor in Chemistry from University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point and a Master of Science in Fisheries from the University of Missouri, Columbia. John lives near Rhinelander with his wife, Katie, two children, Jane and Ben, and an English Setter. He indulges interests in chemistry and physics by brewing beer and hand-loading ammunition. Other interests include spending time with family, hunting, trapping, skiing and biking.
