James Hook is the Manager of Codes and Technical standards at the Canadian Automatic Sprinkler Association. James has over twenty-three years of experience in the Fire Sprinkler Industry. James attended BCIT for Mechanical drafting. James has been in the fire protection industry since 2001 as a designer and spent 18 years as the senior plans examiner at the City of Vancouver. James currently represents CASA on multiple NFPA Technical Committee's and also serves on other Canadian Technical Standards related to the Canadian Fire Protection Industry.
