Vice President for Human Resources
Susan Wittich is the Vice President for Human Resources for Eger Health Care and Rehabilitation Center and Eger Harbor House. In her Human Resources role, Susan is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the Human Resources function for Eger Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, a 378 bed skilled nursing facility and Eger Harbor House, a 75 bed Medicaid assisted living program.
Susan’s DSRIP involvement has included the Staten Island Performing Provider System’s (SIPPS) Cultural Competency and Health Literacy Work Group as well as the Workforce Committee. She has implemented a two-day general orientation for all new hires which includes SIPPS sponsored training in LGBTQ, Disability Ally, Cultural Awareness and Health Literacy with the goal of bringing this training to all staff, currently over 700 employees. Susan is also involved in implementing the Certified Nurse Aide Registered Apprenticeship program at Eger through the Workforce Committee of DSRIP.
Susan has been employed at Eger since 2013 and possesses more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources. She received a BS in Business Administration from Kennedy Western University and Certification in Human Resources from St. Joseph’s College.
