My goal is to make aicas the leading company in software development tools for embedded systems. We offer cutting edge Java and OSGi technology for embedded systems, as well as IoT management systems. With deterministic garbage collection and the Realtime Specification for Java, we bring high-level programming technology to embedded and time-critical systems. Our Edge Suite also servers the broader IoT market. My standardization involvement includes being specification lead from JSR 282 and membership in JSR 302 expert groups for embedded Java standards, as well as the OSGi alliance. I was also European Cochair for the completion of the Object-Oriented Technology and Related Techniques Supplement that was approved by the SC-205/WG-71 Plenary to update certification standards for civil aviation software.
