Lieutenant Chandler is an 18-year veteran of the Fayetteville Police Department (FPD). He currently supervises the Narcotics Unit and Gang Unit at FPD. These two units are currently made up of 18 local law enforcement officers including DEA TFOs, FBI TFOs, USPS TFOs, and a Hope Mills Police Department detective. Lieutenant Chandler is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Lieutenant Chandler has experience investigating the fraudulent flow of money associated with criminal organizations and has a strong understanding of best practices to combat financial crimes through Anti-Money Laundering (AML) investigations.
