Deacon David A. Wulff is a Reverent Deacon in the Diocese of Raleigh and serves at St. Michael’s Roman
Catholic Church in Cary which is the largest congregation in the Diocese of Raleigh with approximately
25,000 parishioners. Prior to his ordination he served at the Cary Police Department in a variety of roles
for 30 years until retirement. His last assignment was as a Major over several units such as
Investigations, the 911 Center, Traffic, Street Crimes, and Animal Control. All together Dave was sworn
for 40 years both in Ohio and North Carolina. Dave is a graduate of the Diocese of Raleigh Deacon
Seminary, has an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Campbell University and a Master’s in
Justice Administration from Methodist University. Dave is currently a professor at Campbell University,
the Director of Safety and Security at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, and a published author. He is
