Norman A. Peart is the founding pastor of Grace Bible Fellowship, where he has pastored for thirty
years, in Cary, North Carolina. He has served as a police chaplain with the Cary Police Department for
fourteen years. He is also an adjunct at Southeastern Baptist Theological College & Seminary, and has
been an adjunct at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a sociologist and pastor who
received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University and his Master of Divinity and Master of Theology
degrees from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary. He wrote Separate No More: Understanding and
Developing Racial Reconciliation in Your Church which was featured at Promise Keeper events, and has
also authored Jesus’ Prayer Recipe: The R.E.A.C.H. Prayer Pattern. Norm and his wife, Carolyn, live in
