Pooja Khatri, MD, MSc is Professor and Vice Chair of Research and Director of the Vascular Neurology Division for the Department of Neurology at University of Cincinnati. She directs the National Coordinating Center of NIH StrokeNet, the primary infrastructure for NIH-funded multicenter trials of stroke in the USA. She has broad experience in therapeutic development from conception to post-marketing phases including translational, study design, regulatory, safety, and ethical aspects. Her specific expertise includes acute stroke, early secondary stroke prevention, brain health, biomarkers of motor recovery after stroke, and innovative clinical trial design.
