Dr. Yoo is a diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologist, and Medical Director at the Texas Stroke Institute. He has participated as an investigator or as the core imaging laboratory in several major trials of intra-arterial stroke treatment, including MR CLEAN, BASICS, GOLIATH, ARISE II, and MR RESCUE. He has served as the co-principal investigator of the recent TESLA trial of large core thrombectomy and the CLEAR study of the NeVa stent retriever and is an Associate Editor of the Stroke: Vascular and Interventional Neurology journal of the American Heart Association.
