Shane was born and raised in Cache Valley, Utah. He graduated as the valedictorian of Utah State University with dual degrees in Family & Human Development and in Spanish. He subsequently graduated from S.J. Quinney college of law with high honors, after which he clerked for the Utah Supreme Court. He was luck to be mentored by many great minds in our community, including Justice Ronald Nehring, Howard Lundgren, Louise Knauer, Sandy Dolowitz, Jim Hunnicutt, and Christina Zavell. Shane shifted his focus from litigation services to mediation in 2020. His practice is now dedicated solely to mediation services. In his free time, Shane enjoys beekeeping, gardening, and travel.
