12:30 PM - 1:45 PM Wed
Prior to applying to medical school, Nathan was working as a middle school science teacher in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nathan has a great love for teaching that began at the age of 19 while serving a religious mission in Argentina. Upon returning from his mission, he went to Brigham Young University, where he studied Neuroscience. He continued to foster his gift for teaching, working as a Spanish instructor throughout his undergraduate experience. It was at Brigham Young University that Nathan met his wife Diana and they married in 2014. In 2016, with a young son and a daughter on the way, Nathan decided to pursue his dream of becoming a physician, which is what ultimately brought him to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Nathan has two primary goals in life; to be an excellent husband and father as well as a master medical educator.
