Kamala Nair is a meticulous copywriter, brand voice expert, and published novelist who helps interior designers rise to a category of one through strategic storytelling and refined, high-impact messaging. She began her career as an editor at ELLE DECOR in New York before joining the in-house teams at West Elm and Blue Apron, where she served as staff copywriter and head of copy, respectively. Her bylines include Architectural Digest, Luxe Interiors + Design, and 1stDibs’ Introspective magazine. In 2022, she launched a boutique copywriting agency serving interior designers ready to elevate their brand, attract clients with bigger budgets and bolder visions, and stand apart in a saturated market. Kamala was raised in Vermont and Minnesota and spent 12 years living and working in New York City. She currently lives in the Cotswolds, England with her husband and two young children.
