Ben Sullivan is the Executive Director for the Office of Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency (Resilience Office). He has over a decade of experience in government including time as the Deputy Director and Energy Program Manager for the Resilience Office, and 10 years as the Energy and Sustainability Coordinator for Kauaʻi County. Ben’s early career included fifteen years in architecture & green building in Denver and Hawaiʻi. His work in climate began as a community-based clean energy advocate on Kauaʻi, followed by a term on the Kauaʻi Island Utility Cooperative Board of Directors from 2009- 2011. Ben has not owned a car for ten years, and enjoys Oʻahu’s robust public transit system to get around on Oʻahu.
