Josh Wisch is President and Executive Director of Holomua Collective, a nonprofit dedicated to giving local working families hope they can afford to stay in Hawai’i. Raised in a middle income family in a small town, Josh draws on those roots to build partnerships that create durable solutions to keep local families home. With 20+ years of cross-sector experience, Josh led the ACLU of Hawai’i, served as District Director for Congresswoman Mazie Hirono, Deputy Director of the Department of Taxation, Special Assistant to the Attorney General, Policy Director for AARP Hawai’i, and has been a litigator and political campaign manager. He is Board President of Temple Emanu-El, serves on the boards of the Kūpa’a Network and Hawai’i Book & Music Festival, is an Omidyar Fellow, “20 for the Next 20” honoree, and holds degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and the Georgetown University Law Center.
