Rick Egged serves as President of the Waikīkī Improvement Association, a nonprofit organization focused on enhancing the vibrancy, safety, and overall experience of Waikīkī for both visitors and residents alike. In this role, he has worked with stakeholders to create the first Hawai‘i Business Improvement District and subsequent districts regarding beach and transportation improvements. For over thirty years, Rick has worked to improve the ecosystem and reduce flood risk in the Ala Wai Watershed. He is currently Co-Chair of the Ala Wai Watershed Collaboration.
