Niegel Rozet is from Makawao, Maui, and lives in Wahiawā, Oʻahu. He holds a B.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Management and a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from UH-Mānoa, with focuses in coastal ecology and community planning. His background spans science and grassroots work, with roles as a lab tech, diver, fisher, and research assistant with Hui ʻĀina Momona. He has been a Planner with KUA since 2019. He and his ʻohana enjoy fishing, surfing, and spending time near the ocean.
