Xiaofeng Li is an Assistant Professor of transportation management at the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa. He received his PhD degree in transportation engineering from the University of Arizona in 2021. His primary research focuses on the interdisciplinary field between travel and transportation. He is especially focused on data collection and integration, and leveraging big data and machine learning approaches to address traditional challenges in travel monitoring, public transportation, shared micromobility, and smart city development.
