John Hagihara is a Principal with HHF Planners specializing in environmental and land use planning. During his graduate studies at the University of Hawaiʻi Department of Urban and Regional Planning, he developed a passion for community-driven natural resource management. Throughout his career with HHF, John has been fortunate to work on a range of community centered planning assignments around the state and across the Pacific, including the recent Keʻeaumoku Complete Streets Plan and the ongoing Maui Urban Forestry Management Plan. Outside of work, he can be found amongst the beautiful urban canopy in Kapiʻolani Park riding bikes or coaching his son’s soccer team
